Ebola Concern: Is the panic necessary?

By now, we’ve all heard about Ebola in the media. If you pay attention, the focus is on how we can stop an outbreak by developing an experimental vaccine or rushing anyone with symptoms into quarantine. Neither of those sound like anything I want to line up for anytime soon.

Although this virus continues to infect and kill thousands overseas, it is also silently immunizing an unknown number of others. The concept of natural Ebola immunity is something I have been reading up on recently, but has not been covered much in the media.

So why is it that when someone comes into contact with this virus, some develop the symptoms and others do not? This is where natural Ebola immunity comes into play. The more research that is done, the more people are found to possess natural antibodies and serological markers for protective immunity.

Here’s how that happens: when our nervous system and immune system are functioning at their optimal levels, our bodies are prepared and strong enough to fight off foreign viruses or bacteria, NATURALLY. We can develop the necessary antibodies on our own, without having to resort to a vaccine or some other type of drug.
