It’s that time of year again (finally) where the snow melts and the flowers are in bloom. However, these warmer temperatures also mean that the allergy season is among us.  While it’s nice to live and enjoy the 4 seasons in Canada, it’s important to recognize seasonal allergies and their symptoms.

Most people experience spring allergies due to the increased amount of pollen in the air. The longer winter and extreme cold system this year has resulted in more flowers and trees to bloom closer together, resulting in a larger variety and higher quantity of pollen to be released all at once. Because of this, many researchers and experts are calling this “The Pollen Vortex.” Many are expecting this to be one of the worst allergy seasons for sufferers in recent history.

The Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America counts 45 million people in the United States who suffer from nasal allergies, and another 25 million with asthma—both conditions that can be can be aggravated by pollen. Most people choose to mask their symptoms with various forms of medication, but is there a better way?

Chiropractic adjustments have proven to relieve the symptoms of allergies naturally by improving the body’s immune system, without having to use over the counter allergy medication. To read more click HERE.
